Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current or pending Illinois SLP licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or pursuing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred Middle school caseload experience is a plus Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desirable Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and identify speech, language, and communication needs of middle school students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within the school environment Provide direct therapy and monitor progress across the school year Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families about students needs and progress Document services in alignment with IEPs and school policies Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on speech-language development Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture Enjoy a part-time schedule offering a valued work-life balance and the opportunity to make a difference in students lives.
