Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication development in a dynamic educational environment near Berwyn, IL. This contract opportunity is ideal for speech-language pathologists enthusiastic about collaborating with school teams and empowering students to reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP license in the state of Illinois, or eligibility to obtain one Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also encouraged Experience with IEP development and implementation Solid communication and teamwork skills Passion for working with children and supporting inclusive education
Role Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in K-12 students Collaborate closely with general and special education teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs Maintain detailed records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports Provide direct and consultative services in a variety of settings (individual, small group, classroom) Participate actively in eligibility meetings, in-services, and professional development What's in
