School Based Speech-Language Pathologist Full-Time, In-Person | Kankakee, IL | $80/hr (1099)

Job Summary Victorious Speech & Language Therapy PLLC is seeking a full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech service coverage in a school-based setting near Bourbonnais, IL . The SLP will be responsible for providing services to 4th-8th grade students with various diagnoses and eligibilities (see responsibilities and qualifications below). This contract position runs from August 2026 through May 2027 . The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and experienced in supporting students with speech and language needs within the school environment. Responsibilities Conduct standardized speech and language assessments. Case manage students whose eligibilities are appropriate Provide direct and indirect speech therapy per students' IEPs. Develop IEP goals and progress reports. Participate in Eligibility & IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers and families. Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state requirements. Qualifications Active Illinois SLP License and Professional Educator License (PEL) required. This is a 1099 independent contractor role requiring full, independent licensure. Due to supervision and employment classification requirements, we are unable to accept Clinical Fellowship (CF) applicants. Illinois school-based experience strongly preferred. Experience with Autism strongly preferred Experience with AAC strongly preferred Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Compensation & Details $80/hour (for both direct and indirect time). 1099 Contractor position. Flexible scheduling within the school day. Caseload involves providing speech therapy services to a caseload of 4th - 8th grade students with various diagnoses and eligibilities.
