7406829-60132 Job Description Step into a pivotal role supporting young learners as a Speech Language Pathologist working with PreK2nd grade students. This part-time contract position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact just 23 days a week, focusing on children with diverse communication needs in an inclusive school environment. Utilize your expertise in speech-language pathology to enhance student outcomes through individualized education plans, collaborative strategies, and evidence-based interventions. Engage with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a holistic approach to student success.
Key Qualifications:
Active state certification in Speech Language Pathology Comprehensive experience in school-based settings, preferably with PreK2nd grade Familiarity with both in-person and teletherapy service delivery Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Experience working with children who have a range of learning or communication differences
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language services Deliver targeted therapeutic interventions tailored to each students needs Track and assess student progress, regularly updating goals and strategies in response to changing requirements Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to foster inclusive and supportive settings Document sessions and growth as required by state and school guidelines In this role, candidates can expect: Flexible scheduling with part-time hours, allowing for worklife balance The opportunity to leverage your SLPA, CFY, SLP-CCC, pediatrics, and teletherapy skills Competitive pay ranging from $45$60 per hour Shape the educational journey of students in a positive, engaging environment where your passion for child-centered practice will truly make a difference.
