Key Qualifications:

Active Illinois SLP license required Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois mandatory Experience with K-12 populations preferred Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Commitment to fostering student learning and social development

Primary Responsibilities:

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students from kindergarten through grade 12 Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students as determined by IEPs or district requirements Document treatment progress, maintain accurate records, and complete necessary reports in a timely manner Attend and participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development activities Serve as a resource to educators and families, offering strategies and support to maximize student success
