Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity where you can make a lasting impact on elementary students while advancing your own professional journey as a speech-language pathologist. This full-time, contract role supports students in 2nd through 4th grade within a single school site, providing specialized speech and language therapy in a dedicated, private space—no sharing required. You'll have the chance to both deliver direct services and offer valuable supervision to Clinical Fellows (CFs), making this a perfect fit for SLPs passionate about both clinical care and mentorship.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (applicable to schools) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision Experience or interest in pediatric and school-based settings Strong background in healthcare-related SLP services Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and manage a full caseload Effective communication and organizational skillsPrimary Responsibilities:
Assess students and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with educational goals Deliver speech and language services to 2nd-4th grade students in a supportive, dedicated therapy environment Document progress and maintain records consistent with school requirements Supervise and mentor CFs, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional growth Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student success Imagine utilizing your skills in a focused setting where you have the resources and autonomy needed to help students thrive.
