Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from Pre-K through eighth grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. This full-time position, available immediately through the end of the school year, offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in an educational environment near Country Club Hills, IL. Experience working with a wide range of speech and language needs, from mild to more complex cases, and collaborate with dedicated educators and support staff.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
SLP-CCC, SLPA, or Clinical Fellow (CF) status considered Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Experience or interest in serving PK-8th grade populations Ability to assess, diagnose, and implement individualized therapy plans Strong communication and collaboration skills Compassion for working with students at various developmental stages and needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide therapy and intervention for students with diverse speech and language challenges Conduct assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations as needed Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal-setting, and document progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success Offer guidance and support to substitute, assistant, or new team members as needed This contract role provides you with the flexibility to apply your skills in a supportive school setting, building valuable experience working across age groups and severity levels.
