Duties Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons across subjects such as literacy, math, and social skills. Support students with disabilities or special needs by implementing tailored strategies aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques. Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to help students improve reading, writing, and numeracy skills. Help create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and independence. Support early childhood development activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social growth. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavioral incidents; assist with proofreading educational materials as needed. Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; classroom experience preferred. Knowledge of special education practices, literacy education, and early childhood development principles. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, students, parents, and colleagues. Familiarity with classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques. Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or autism using compassionate and adaptive approaches.
