Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A part-time opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatric and school-based therapy. This contract role is based in Des Plaines, IL, and offers a chance to contribute to an elementary school's communication development by providing direct speech-language services.
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for elementary-aged students. Deliver individualized therapy sessions targeting communication disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain clear, timely documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies. Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention planning.Qualifications:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience in school-based pediatric caseloads. Competence in teletherapy services is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educational staff. Licensure and credentials compliant with state requirements.Position Details:
Part-time schedule: 2 days per week for the remainder of the current school year. Elementary school setting. Contract position offering competitive hourly compensation ($50-$55/hour).Location:
