Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting contract opportunities are now available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with CCC certification for the 2026-2027 school year. If you're dedicated to supporting student communication and language development, explore these flexible, part-time roles located near Des Plaines, IL. Several positions are open across different schools, each offering a unique caseload and schedule tailored to your preferences.
Open Roles and Schedules:
Serve 16 students for 15 hours per week in Lake in the Hills. Provide services to 9 students in Morton Grove for 5-7 hours per week. Support 29 students for 15-20 hours per week in Oak Lawn. Work with 22 students for 15 hours per week in Plainfield. Manage a caseload (to be determined) for 15 hours per week in Rockford.
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Illinois. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Experience in educational or pediatric settings is preferred. Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to adapt techniques to meet diverse student needs. A collaborative spirit for teamwork with educators, parents, and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapy to students with speech and language disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs. Collaborate with teachers and school teams to maximize student progress. Maintain timely records and evaluate student growth. Participate in meetings and communicate progress with families.
