Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders Current SLP license in Illinois Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required) Previous experience working with K-5 students preferred Knowledge of school-based therapy delivery and IEP process Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-5 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy, both individually and in small groups Maintain accurate records of student progress, documentation, and IEP participation Collaborate actively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school staff Deliver parent and teacher education to promote strategies supporting language development Adapt therapy approaches to meet the culturally and linguistically diverse needs of students As a valued professional, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference in an engaging school setting, while growing your expertise.
