Desired Skills & Background:

Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (Illinois or eligible for reciprocal) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Previous experience working with pediatric clients, preferably in a school-based setting Strong clinical skills in assessments, diagnostics, and individualized treatment planning Excellent communication, documentation, and collaborative abilities Flexibility and adaptability to support diverse student needs and work within interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students from Kindergarten through grade 12 Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and family members Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions, both group and individual, to address a variety of pediatric speech-language disorders Maintain organized, accurate records and progress notes to support compliance and track student growth Participate in IEP meetings, department collaborations, and ongoing professional development to enhance therapy outcomes
