This contract opportunity focuses on making a difference for young children by supporting language, speech, and communication development at a welcoming early childhood center. Based near Mount Prospect, IL, you'll collaborate with educators and families, using your expertise to create meaningful progress for students at a pivotal time in their growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license Professional Educator License (PEL) required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads Familiarity with early childhood intervention and individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative speech/language services to early childhood students Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to each child's needs Conduct screenings and ongoing evaluations to monitor student progress Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to support classroom integration and generalization of speech/language goals Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
