Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a school community near Evanston, IL, as a Speech-Language Pathologist covering a maternity leave. This full-time assignment runs from August 19th through the end of October and offers a dynamic environment working with pediatric populations in an educational setting. Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your skills and dedication will make a direct impact.

Qualifications and Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state license to practice as an

SLP ASHA

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows warmly welcomed Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations strongly preferred Experience or comfort with teletherapy platforms is a plus Familiarity with IEPs, documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and develop treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student success Maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Offer support and guidance for students as they make progress towards communication goals Participate in team and IEP meetings as needed This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology within a supportive school environment.
