Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid SLP license in Illinois and appropriate certification (CCC-SLP or CFY considered) Experience or strong interest in serving middle school populations Prior work in school-based or pediatric settings is advantageous Ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs Bilingual abilities are highly valued and preferred Collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and adaptability

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and group speech and language therapy for middle school students Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams Offer consultation to staff, supporting language development initiatives and best practices Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment, empowering diverse learners Enjoy the benefits of a flexible, part-time schedule that allows for work-life balance and continued professional growth.
