PRN / As Needed Job Summary This PRN Speech-Language Pathologist position offers flexible scheduling with the option to provide services either in person or through telehealth, based on patient needs, therapist availability, and scheduling. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide appropriate speech and language therapy interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and treatment records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to support patient care.
- Provide compassionate and professional patient-centered care.
- Follow applicable clinical, safety, and documentation standards. Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the State of Illinois.
- Must have a Master's degree
- Proven experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills. Compensation
