Job Description

Exciting opportunity available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a meaningful part-time role within an educational environment near Grayslake, IL. This contracted position will serve students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade, providing impactful speech-language support for a small caseload. This assignment is set to begin with a required New Hire Orientation from August 12th to August 14th, with tentative start and end dates for the 2026-2027 school year. You'll work onsite only, delivering high-quality services to a caseload of nine students, ensuring each child receives the attention and care needed to thrive.

Qualifications and Experience:

Current Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) are required; be ready to submit a screenshot of each credential upon request. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred; however, strong Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates will be considered. Experience working with early elementary students is beneficial. Commitment to working onsite every week for 7 scheduled hours. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language services to assigned K-2 students in accordance with IEP goals. Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports. Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers as needed. Participate in relevant meetings, including IEPs and team sessions, as scheduled within your work hours. Stay informed of state and district regulations governing school-based speech-language services. Imagine using your expertise to help young students build communication skills and confidence.
