Bilingual School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Elgin, Illinois

Job Description

This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist who enjoys fostering growth and academic success in a dynamic educational environment. Youll collaborate with educators and families to help students excel, all while working near Elgin, IL.
What Were Looking For:
Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Bilingual in English and Spanishability to deliver services fluently in both languages. Experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations is highly valued. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Commitment to cultural competence and understanding of diverse student backgrounds.
What Youll Do:
Provide speech and language assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for school-aged children. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs. Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to deliver comprehensive support. Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines. Support educational teams in fostering a positive and inclusive school climate.
