We are seeking a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat patients of all ages in hospital (acute and swing bed) and outpatient settings.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, considering patient, family, and cultural backgrounds. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans with measurable goals. Utilizing standardized and instrumental evaluations to monitor progress. Providing patient and family education, collaborating with the healthcare team, and recommending appropriate next steps in care. Documenting all interventions in compliance with regulatory standards. Adapting intervention strategies based on patient performance and behavior.
Qualifications and skills:
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Licensure as an SLP by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days. Excellent communication, assessment, and collaborative skills.
