Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an elementary school setting. This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 6, 2025. Collaborate closely with educators and families to help young learners reach important communication milestones. This is a full-time role, offering 37.5 hours per week in a supportive school environment near Lena, Illinois.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Valid SLP licensure for Illinois (or eligibility to obtain) SLP-CCC or strong SLP-CFY candidates encouraged to apply Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Teletherapy experience is a plus Ability to provide creative, engaging therapy services Skilled in evaluation, planning, and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-5 students Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students' specific needs Provide direct therapy in individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings Leverage technology for teletherapy as needed Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
