The position begins with orientation on August 3rd, and continues through the complete academic year, concluding May 28th. Qualifications:

Active Illinois state license as a Speech Language Pathologist Professional Educator License (PEL) active, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates welcome Prior experience or strong interest in a school setting Commitment to working full-time throughout the academic year Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

Assess speech, language, and communication abilities of students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff Provide therapy sessions individually and in small groups Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions Engage in professional development as needed Youll play a direct role in helping students develop essential communication skills while working within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
