9677752-60153 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting vibrant PreK programs, working with children ages 3-5 years in engaging, collaborative school environments. Covering a maternity leave from early to mid-October through March, this full-time position is divided between two friendly and nurturing schools. Here, youll connect with four preschool classrooms and participate in team-based evaluations, utilizing or developing skills in transdisciplinary play-based assessment. Spanish-speaking ability would enhance your connection with the community, but it is not a strict requirement.

Qualifications/Preferred Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state SLP license required; CCC or CFY candidates encouraged to apply Prior experience supporting preschool or school-based populations a plus Knowledge of transdisciplinary play-based assessment highly valued Comfort working in diverse, team-oriented school settings Spanish language skills beneficial, but not essential for this assignment Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to PreK students, ages 35 Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct team-based evaluations alongside multidisciplinary colleagues Participate in transdisciplinary play-based assessments and contribute to student progress monitoring Serve as a proactive resource for classroom teachers and families regarding speech and language development
