A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or CF Welcome) Bee You Therapy, LLC Join a team that believes therapy should be meaningful, collaborative, and built around real life. Bee You Therapy is a growing occupational and speech therapy practice serving adolescents and adults with executive functioning challenges, autism, ADHD, intellectual and developmental disabilities, communication differences, and life skill needs. We provide services in our Mokena clinic, within our community, and through our partnership with The Hive Day Program in both Mokena and Palos Heights. We are looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about building relationships, thinking outside the box, and helping clients reach meaningful goals in everyday environments. This is a full-time position with set weekly hours . Scheduling offers flexibility while maintaining consistency for clients. Position Responsibilities Evaluate and treat adolescents and adults with a variety of communication, cognitive-communication, executive functioning, social communication, and life skills needs. Develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals. Maintain a consistent caseload and schedule. Complete evaluations, daily documentation, progress reports, and discharge summaries in a timely manner. Collaborate with occupational therapists, families, caregivers, community partners, and other professionals. Provide therapy in the clinic, community, and through contracted services at The Hive Day Program. Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration. Assist with the continued growth and development of Bee You Therapy's speech-language pathology services. Represent Bee You Therapy professionally within the community and participate in occasional outreach or community events. Maintain compliance with all state, federal, HIPAA, and company documentation standards. Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License (or eligible for licensure). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship applicants are encouraged to apply. Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel between Bee You Therapy locations and community treatment sites as needed. Clinic-based services in Mokena. Contracted services provided at The Hive Day Program in Mokena and/or Palos Heights. Occasional local travel between locations and community settings.
