Category Schools - SLP Job Type All Job Types Make a difference in the lives of students as a full time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary and intermediate school caseloads in the Morris, IL area. Qualifications and Experience:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC) required Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists Commitment to fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning atmosphereKey Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' communication skills and develop individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy services to a varied caseload of elementary and intermediate-aged students Document progress and maintain thorough records in accordance with school and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic and functional success Offer guidance to families and teachers regarding strategies for communication support in the classroom and at home Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise to team decisionsBenefits and Perks:
