Mt. Zion, Illinois Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a school setting in Mt. Zion, Illinois for the 20262027 school year. This position is based at one school site with a MondayFriday schedule of approximately 8:00 AM3:30 PM . The caseload will most likely include a large number of 2nd and 3rd grade students , providing an opportunity to work closely with elementary-aged students and the school team. Responsibilities Provide speech-language therapy services to students based on individual needs and IEP goals Conduct assessments and participate in evaluations as appropriate Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Monitor and document student progress Maintain accurate therapy documentation and service records Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, families, and related service providers Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning Support students' communication, language, and academic participation Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and multidisciplinary teams Strong organization and time-management skills Ability to adapt therapy strategies to meet individual student needs Comfortable working primarily with elementary-aged students Qualifications Illinois SLP License Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) Ability to provide school-based speech-language services Experience School-based experience is preferred but not required Experience working with elementary-aged students is a plus Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
