This full-time contract position offers an engaging opportunity to work with K-8th grade students, providing both challenge and fulfillment throughout the school year. You'll support a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels, enabling students to improve their communication abilities and participate more fully in academic and social settings. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists in an inclusive and supportive school community.
Qualifications:
Active PEL (Professional Educator License) required Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology CCC-SLP or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed Strong knowledge of evidence-based speech and language therapy practices Excellent interpersonal, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to adapt to the diverse needs and abilities of K-8 students Commitment to serving the full 2022/2023 school year
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver direct and consultative therapy to K-8 students Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and support staff regarding student needs and progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning Support a positive and inclusive school culture focused on student growth Provide both individual and group interventions based on best practices This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive school environment that values your expertise.
