9681381-60564 Job Description Exciting opportunities are available for skilled occupational therapists with a passion for supporting elementary school students. This contract position is based near Aurora, IL and extends through the full school year, offering a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Youll work alongside dedicated professionals in a dynamic educational environment, focusing your expertise on a caseload comprised exclusively of elementary-aged children.
Key Qualifications:
Current and active state of Illinois Occupational Therapist license Previous experience in pediatric or school settings Strong background in sensory integration techniques Experience setting and tracking progress on student goals Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based therapy
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students, adapting interventions to individual needs Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student learning and engagement Develop individualized treatment plans and update progress notes in accordance with established protocols Participate in IEP meetings, offer input on student progress, and help set realistic goals Support general classroom success by consulting on sensory strategies and accommodations This full-time role immerses you in a welcoming school community where your expertise will make a real impact over the course of the school year.
