Qualifications:
Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Illinois Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Experience providing services within a school environment preferred Strong communication and collaborative skills to partner with educators, families, and support staff Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans for diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication challenges Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to elementary and intermediate school students Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress Document student progress and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to create supportive learning environments
