Job Description

Ignite your career as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students on a rewarding contract assignment in the greater Rockford, IL area. This onsite opportunity places you at the heart of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to empowering students through innovative speech and language therapy. You'll be working hands-on with a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high school settings, fostering communication skills essential for academic and social success. This is the perfect role for passionate SLPs ready to make a significant impact, including recent graduates eager to begin their Clinical Fellowship year under guidance.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Current ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language (SL) endorsement, and active Illinois State License (IDFPR) Clinical Fellowship Year SLPs (CF-SLPs) encouraged to apply Previous school-based experience preferred, though not required Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams, families, and students Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy to a K-12 caseload with a range of communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and state guidelines Offer both direct and consultative services as needed by each student Enjoy a benefits package including competitive weekly pay, a 401(k) retirement plan, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance—letting you focus on what you do best.
