This contract role begins around August 11th or 12th, with an expected end date of May 28th, subject to adjustments for emergency days. The position may offer renewal options for the following school year. This role serves a diverse caseload, primarily consisting of bilingual Spanish-speaking students from early childhood through 8th grade, with an estimated 10-15 bilingual students. Additionally, the caseload will include monolingual students, with total caseload size dependent on part-time or full-time status. Full-time caseloads typically range between 40-45 students, with a maximum unlikely to exceed 50.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language pathology services to bilingual (Spanish) and monolingual students. Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders across early childhood to 8th grade. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student communication outcomes. Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required. Experience working in school settings preferred. Strong assessment and intervention skills for pediatric populations. Ability to manage caseload and prioritize student needs effectively.
