Job Description

Take your expertise as a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist to the next level by making a difference in a dynamic school environment. This contract role offers a full-time, onsite opportunity with a vibrant, supportive team and the chance to work hands-on with diverse students. With a schedule of 37.5 hours per week from August 6, 2026, to May 27, 2027, this position is ideal for professionals passionate about student progress and lasting impact.
Key Qualifications:
ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Language (SL) endorsement Active Illinois State License (IDFPR) Bilingual proficiency required SLP-CCC credentials preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CF-SLPs) are encouraged to apply Familiarity with school-based caseloads and IEPs SLP-Assistants (SLP-As) considered only if specifically noted
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments, therapy, and consultation for students with varying needs Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure positive, functional outcomes for students Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with local and federal guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a collaborative educational setting
