9666537-60193 Job Description Embark on an impactful career supporting middle school students as a Speech Language Pathologist with a leading educational team near Schaumburg, IL. This full-time contract role runs from September 29, 2026, to June 9, 2027, with some flexibility for part-time schedules. Youll play a vital role on campus, working closely with students, educators, and families to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current IL Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement Valid Illinois SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English Experience or interest in school-based practice, preferably at the middle school level Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt service delivery for onsite-only caseloads
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload, averaging around 45 middle school students Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to deliver student-centered support Serve one or potentially multiple school sites, depending on final assignments Maintain accurate records and compliance with state and district guidelines Support bilingual and English-speaking students to maximize educational access Enjoy steady hours of 37.5 per week across the school year, with flexibility for part-time arrangements if needed.
