As a Speech-Language Pathologist SLP, you'll play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team, helping individuals of all ages communicate effectively and overcome speech, language, and swallowing disorders. About the
Role:
Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders in patients of all ages, including children, adults, and seniors Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills, accents, and swallowing functions Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Conduct patient assessments, therapy sessions, and progress evaluations Keep accurate records of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes
Responsibilities:
Speech-Language Pathology:
Conduct speech and language assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy sessions to patients with a range of communication disorders
Case Coordination:
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless communication and coordinated care
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress
Quality Improvement:
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department operations
Requirements:
Master's Degree:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)-accredited program
Certifications:
ASHA certification and State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, if required
Experience:
