The ideal candidate will work with children in a therapeutic day school setting, providing essential speech therapy services to support their communication needs. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, and communication abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs. Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions tailored to each child's unique requirements. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support the child's development. Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate families on strategies to enhance communication skills at home. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress in compliance with regulatory standards. Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist. Professional Educator License (PEL) Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
