This dynamic position offers a meaningful chance to apply your SLP-CCC expertise as you support a manageable caseload of approximately 20 students for the 2026-2027 school year.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Illinois SLP license Professional Educator's License (PEL) through ISBE for Illinois schools Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience working in a school environment or with children and adolescents (preferred)

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing disorders in a dedicated therapeutic day school Develop and implement personalized IEP goals and intervention plans tailored to student needs Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student support Document progress and maintain compliance with all state and school district requirements Provide direct and consultative services as needed, adapting methodologies to optimize student outcomes Maintain a supportive, inclusive environment encouraging communication growth
