Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license required Professional Educator License (PEL) mandatory (Please have a screenshot ready to submit with your application) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) will also be considered Prior experience in school-based settings or with K-2 students is a plus Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Role Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language services tailored to students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain effective documentation and progress reporting in adherence with district and state requirements Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to facilitate student growth Participate in IEP meetings and planning for a caseload of approximately 9 students Attend new hire orientation from August 12th to 14th to familiarize with protocols and district resources
