Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students through your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school setting near Zion, IL. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity aligned with the academic calendar, providing vital services from late August 2026 through late May 2027. You'll work directly with students, collaborating with educators and families while supporting communication goals that shape lifelong success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Hold a current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence). Eligibility for state licensure as a speech-language pathologist. Familiarity with working in a school environment, ideally with K-12 populations. Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills. Passion for helping students reach their communication and academic potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group speech/language therapy tailored to IEP goals. Conduct assessments and deliver recommendations for students' speech, language, and communication needs. Develop, review, and update treatment plans; participate in IEP meetings as required. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success. Maintain accurate, timely records of services and progress. Offer staff in-services and consultative support as needed.
