Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Skills and Experience Sought:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Experience with school-aged children preferred Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

What You'll Be Doing:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs across multiple grade levels Evaluate and document students' communication abilities using standardized assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams Consult closely with teachers, parents, and staff to promote student progress and carryover of strategies Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines Participate in ongoing professional development and school-based meetings
