Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity impacting students' lives in a dynamic school setting! We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work onsite during the 2026-2027 school year. This role emphasizes collaboration and expertise, with a primary focus on conducting comprehensive evaluations. You'll work alongside a supportive SLP colleague, primarily serving nonverbal life skills students, all within a contract arrangement.
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred Strong skills in speech evaluations and assessments Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills Familiarity supporting nonverbal or life skills student populations a plus
Core Responsibilities:
Provide targeted speech-language evaluations for a caseload of approximately 50-70 students Collaborate closely with a fellow SLP and other educational staff to develop and implement individualized support strategies Deliver services in alignment with each student's needs, focusing on high-quality assessments Maintain accurate records and contribute to team meetings regarding student progress and intervention planning This onsite position offers a meaningful chance to make a difference for students in a positive, professional school environment.
