Job Description

Step into a vital role supporting students communication needs while sharpening your skills in a collaborative school environment. This contract opportunity is tailored for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to focus on comprehensive evaluations and make a meaningful impact on student lives alongside a dynamic team. Your responsibilities will center on conducting detailed speech-language assessments for a caseload of approximately 5070 students. Working closely with another SLP, youll provide crucial support for nonverbal, life skills-focused students, ensuring every child receives individualized and effective care. Your commitment to excellence and teamwork will be key to success in this onsite-only setting.
What were looking for:
Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC required). Previous experience working in a school setting, especially with diverse or nonverbal populations, is strongly preferred. Expertise in performing and interpreting speech-language evaluations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with related service staff. Organizational skills for managing a moderate caseload and keeping thorough documentation.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language services with a primary emphasis on thorough and timely evaluations. Maintain collaborative partnerships with other SLPs and support staff. Develop and implement strategies tailored to nonverbal, life skills-based student populations. Track student progress and contribute to IEP meetings as needed. The assignment runs from August 2026 through June 2027 with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.
