Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting childrens communication and language development in an educational setting near Logansport, IN. This contract therapy opportunity focuses on delivering pediatric Speech-Language Pathology services within schools, fostering growth for students through expert assessment, intervention, and collaborative engagement with educational teams.
Key Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility for licensure in Indiana Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred Competence with a variety of communication disorders and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC) tools Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver evidence-based therapy Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and regulatory requirements Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals and generalize progress in the classroom Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and progress updates Offer consultation and training to school staff on speech/language strategies for classroom integration
