Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Qualifications and Desired Background:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Valid speech-language pathology license in the state as required. Previous experience serving pediatric or school-based populations. Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and documentation compliance. Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based interventions for diverse speech, language, and communication needs. Comfortable collaborating with educators, administrators, and families.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs. Conduct assessments to determine needs and develop appropriate goals. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning. Maintain thorough, compliant records and progress reports. Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom integration of therapy strategies. Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and recommendations.
