Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students with your expertise as a speech-language pathologist. Two onsite positions are available for the upcoming academic year, running from August 12, 2026, through May 26, 2027, and offering a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. One SLP will serve both an elementary and a middle school building, providing valuable assistance to diverse student populations. The second SLP will cover two middle school buildings, focusing on building strong communicative skills in the adolescent years. Each caseload will include approximately 45-55 students. With a manageable number of buildings assigned, you'll be able to dedicate the necessary time and attention to every student on your roster.

Qualifications:

Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC certification required) Relevant experience in school-based settings serving elementary and/or middle school students Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Strong assessment, intervention, and collaboration skills Effective communication to liaise with educators, families, and other professionals Key responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and provide direct therapy services for students with speech and language needs Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain compliance with education regulations Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with school staff and families Maintain clear documentation and progress reports for each student on your caseload Foster supportive, inclusive learning environments that encourage student growth Embrace the chance to make a meaningful difference while working alongside a dynamic school staff, and build strong relationships with students and families in a focused setting.
