9675474-67052 Job Description Make a meaningful impact by providing specialized speech-language therapy services at the high school level, focusing primarily on low incidence programs. This contract position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team of educators, therapists, and support staff to foster communication development and academic success among students with unique learning needs. Qualified candidates bring a passion for working with adolescents and a commitment to evidence-based practices. Youll assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a supportive and resourceful environment.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Kansas Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Prior experience supporting school-based pediatric and adolescent populations preferred Proficiency working within low incidence programs is a strong asset Collaborative, compassionate, and flexible approach to service delivery Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to high school students, with focus on low incidence disabilities Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and track student progress Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in team meetings, staff development, and family conferences as needed This rewarding contract opportunity offers a supportive school climate, flexible scheduling, and growth potential throughout the school year.
