Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Twin Oaks Health & Rehab, a part of Twin Oaks Retirement Community. As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Twin Oaks, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents, providing expert care and rehabilitation services to help them achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify communication and swallowing disorders in our residents Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address speech, language, and cognitive deficits Provide individual and group therapy sessions, including speech, language, and swallowing therapy, as well as cognitive and cognitive-linguistic therapy Collaborate with our inter-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal outcomes Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and therapy sessions Participate in staff education and training programs to stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology
