Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners by providing speech and language services onsite in an elementary school setting. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality intervention and support for PreK through 5th-grade students. You'll work closely with a collaborative team, helping children build foundational communication skills that set them up for future success.
Qualifications & Required Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP certification with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Active Kansas SLP license Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) License Experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred Strong ability to create individualized education plans and monitor progress Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, families, and fellow professionals
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse elementary caseload Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop targeted treatment plans Work with students, teachers, and families to adapt interventions to individual needs Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to progress reports, and maintain thorough documentation Collaborate with educational teams to promote generalization of skills in the classroom and beyond Engage actively in professional development and continuous learning
