Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, working onsite with elementary-aged students near Olathe, KS. Youll make a visible impact as you collaborate with staff and students across one or two elementary schools (grades EC-4), supporting a caseload of 50-60 children. Your expertise as an SLP-CCC will help these young learners thrive in their school environment through tailored interventions, assessments, and ongoing support.
Qualifications:
Current, valid KS SLP License Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Previous school-based SLP experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to effectively manage and prioritize a caseload of 50-60 students
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school personnel to support student goals Create clear documentation for progress, treatment plans, and required compliance reporting Deliver evidence-based therapy services and regularly monitor student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning Enjoy a consistent, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week and make a difference in young lives.
