9680288-66062 Job Description Step into a dynamic school setting near Olathe, KS, and make a genuine difference supporting students' growth and communication skills! This contract position spans both an elementary and a high school campus, offering you the autonomy to structure your weekly schedule based on student needs. As an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a CCC, your expertise will be instrumental in helping a diverse caseload reach their full potential. With support from a soon-to-start SLPA, you'll collaborate with teams who are actively working to balance caseloads and deliver impactful services. This assignment runs from ASAP through May 21, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Key Requirements:
Current SLP-CCC credential Experience working in school-based settings preferred Strong ability to manage a caseload of 60+ and advocate for collaborative solutions Willingness to travel between two nearby campuses weekly Excellent communication, organization, and self-direction Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for students at both elementary and high school levels
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to a varied student population Conduct assessments and develop IEP goals tailored to each student's needs Partner effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals Maintain thorough records and progress documentation Implement creative and individualized treatment plans In this role, youll benefit from autonomy in scheduling sessions, and will be joining teams committed to supporting each other and lightening the caseload.
