Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Either ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status. Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within school-based or educational settings. Strong communication and organizational abilities. Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and students.
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements. Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions for a diverse student population. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Provide education and training to staff and families as needed. Consistently monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
