Job Description

Make an immediate impact by supporting pediatric students as a Speech-Language Pathology professional on a contract basis. This rewarding role focuses on helping children and adolescents in a school environment achieve their communication and language goals. Youll work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to tailor interventions that enhance students academic and social success. Your expertise in pediatric speech-language therapy will play a vital role in fostering an inclusive and supportive educational atmosphere.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active or eligible state licensure or certification for SLP Experience working with children or in pediatric settings Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose communication and speech disorders in school-aged children Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including IEPs Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, and social communication Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain up-to-date records, documentation, and progress reports Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities This contract position provides the chance to make an important difference in the lives of students, while expanding your professional skills in an engaging school setting.
